Opening for Part-Time Florida Licensed Acupuncture Physician in a Private Room Setting (Contract Position)

Our clinic is looking for a Friendly and Experienced Florida licensed Acupuncture Physician, who is motivated to help us with our ongoing mission to offer quality holistic care to the Jacksonville, FL community.
Who We Are: We are located in a busy holistic health center that offers private acupuncture, community acupuncture, massage therapy, fertility massage, chiropractic care, full-body red light therapy and organic skincare (visit www.jacksonvillewellnesshub.com for more info). Who You Are: You are a Florida licensed acupuncturist who specializes in fertility enhancement and pain management as well as general practice acupuncture. You are excited to work as part of an integrative team of other health and wellness providers, including massage therapists and chiropractors. You don't want to deal with all the details of running your own practice, rather you'd like to come in about 4 days per week to provide excellent acupuncture care to your patients and then go home to your life. You are honest, have a commitment to excellence in all that you do, have a wonderful and kind bedside manner and love treating your patients.
Clinical Skills and Other Requirements:
Additional non-negotiable essentials for this job include:
1. Punctuality
2. Reliability
3. Positive, Can-Do attitude who is eager to learn new things
4. Good Communicator (Timely and Thorough) - with both patients and staff
5. Willingness and ability to operate electronic health records- EHR (we use Jane)
6. Must have professional liability insurance and a business entity (such as an LLC) to contract with our business
Pay: $95 for a new patient evaluation and treatment, $45 for a return patient (you can see 3 return patient visits an hour). Once you reach 25 returning patients in a week, any additional returning patients that week will be compensated at a rate of $55 per patient. This will be on a week by week basis, depending on how many patients you see each week.
You can easily make $75,000-85,000 per year working part-time 4 days per week and take 4 weeks off a year with this position if you're motivated to see 35-40 patients per week.
All of this with very little overhead/expenses!
Needed Days/Times:
Mondays from 8:30 am to 1:30 pm and/or 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm
Tuesdays negotiable - morning or afternoon
Wednesdays from 8:30 am - 1:00 pm
Every other Saturday from 8:30 am to 1:00 pm
You'll pay a supply fee ($40 every two weeks for the use of needles, sheets, table paper, EHR and all other supplies in the treatment room). Any other specialized supplies or equipment you would supply. Our front desk does scheduling, collects payments and rebooks your patients. Jane EHR software is included. You would be responsible for laundering half sheets and pillowcases.

- General acupuncture and Chinese medical care for other common conditions patients seek treatment for (pain, stress, anxiety, depression, allergies, etc.).
- Able to treat fertility patients with great results
- Able to treat sports injuries and orthopedic patients with great results
- Use Chinese herbs and/or nutritional supplements to enhance your treatment outcomes
- Willing to explain acupuncture in Western medical terms that patients can understand
- Willing to create a treatment plan for patients to follow
- Able to work independently and autonomously
- Able to run three treatment rooms at once
- Willing to occasionally participate in self-promotion of your services and offer 10-minute free consultations for potential new patients

- 15% Commission for herbal and nutritional product sales.
- If you do custom herbal formulas - manage your own inventory (or do online dispensary orders) and receive 100% of the profit.
